Stormwater Resource Material

The Stormwater Group has identified a number of external resources which are useful to the roading or stormwater practitioner.  These resources include:

  • On-site Stormwater Management Guidelines, published jointly by the Ministry for the Environment and the New Zealand Water Environment Research Foundation in October 2004.
  • Publications by Kingett Mitchell, including research conducted on contaminants on roads and in road run-off and run-off from rooves.
  • Ministry of Transport research into the effects of transport on the ecosystem, including identifying trace elements emanating from motor vehicles, and vehicle emissions.
  • Auckland Regional Council Technical Publications, designed for Auckland application, but which can be adapted for use elsewhere, especially TP90, TP124 and TP10.
  • Information on climate change effects from Quality Planning.
  • Engineering Lifelines publications, produced for Auckland by the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management.
