Presentations of Stormwater Group
Jonathan Moores of NIWA presented the results of a road run-off sampling programme and evaluation of treatment methods to a group of stormwater and roading practitioners in Wellington on 25 March 2010 at NZTA National Office and at the NIWA Christchurch offices at 10 Kyle Street, Riccaton, on 4 May 2010.

The Stormwater Group was invited to present an overview of its activities to the Stormwater Workshop hosted by ARC on 22 July 2010. The Group used the opportunity to give an explanation of the roles of the RCA Forum and the Stormwater Group, and to challenge the assumption that the number of vehicles on a road can be used as any sort of proxy for the level of contaminants likely to be found in the road runoff.
